The spandex blend gives it just enough stretch that it moves with me during workouts without losing its shape after washing. Fabric feels substantial but breathes well, and it's held up through several wears already.
Bought this for my weekly gym sessions and it holds up beautifully—the 95% cotton keeps it breathable while that 5% spandex lets me move through squats without any tugging. Fit is relaxed but not sloppy, and it's still in great shape after a dozen washes.
The cotton-spandex blend gives just enough stretch that I can move freely during workouts without the fabric clinging or riding up. It's held its shape after several washes too, which is more than I can say for most tees in this price range.
